Aletha joined Canal Winchester Human Services in August, 2012 and currently holds the position of Director. Her responsibilities include oversight of the daily operations and staff. Aletha is a graduate of Canal Winchester and brings a financial background from her work in the world of banking. Aside from her dedication to the Organization, she is a successful volleyball coach for Eastside Volleyball Club. Aletha and her husband, Matt, live just outside Lithopolis in rural Fairfield County with their fur baby, Brody. Aletha enjoys taking Brody to the dog park to play and walking around town. She loves Canal Winchester and enjoys all of the things the town has to offer from dining, activities, and the local shops. Aletha can also be found doing as many 5Ks as possible when it benefits our local community or someone in it.

Don has been a resident in Canal Winchester since 1991. He has been married to his wife, Penny, for thirty years. His son, Jordan, is a graduate of Canal Winchester High School. Don retired from Coca Cola after 43 years, and he enjoys golfing and motorcycling in his leisure time.
Larry and his wife of 34 years, Malissa, have had roots in Canal Winchester for three decades. They are members of St. John XXIII Catholic Church, and Malissa is a librarian at the historic Wagnall’s Memorial. Larry retired from a Civil Engineering profession after 37 years, and their son Eric is employed by Kroger. Larry currently serves as a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus and also invests his time driving for Meals on Wheels.
Greg has been a resident in Canal Winchester for over 30 years. He is married to his wife, Lisa, and he has three adult children and one grandson. He is a retired teacher of 33years (Bloom Carroll and Canal Winchester School Districts), and he enjoys golfing and fishing.
Anna lives in Pickerington with her husband, son, and two cats. She graduated from Ball State University with her bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. She has a passion for helping people and has worked with the senior population on and off since 2001. In her spare time, she can be found reading a book or spending time with family and friends.
Steve and his wife, Laura, have lived in Canal Winchester since 2005. After moving around the country several times, they settled here with their two children, Cian and Ciara. Steve, an Ohio State graduate, previously worked as a computer programmer and system administrator. He now spends most of his time golfing badly, exercising, and traveling.
Dan is a newer resident to Canal Winchester. He and his wife, Becky, moved to the area Fall 2021. He graduated from Groveport Madison High School in 1973 and lived in Pickerington for 34 years. He retired from Ohio Bell/Ameritech/ATT in 2004 after 31 years of employment. He then drove a school bus for the Pickerington Local School District until 2017. He and his wife enjoy bike riding on trails throughout Ohio and exploring other cities and states. Over the course of Summer 2021, Dan rode his bike on the Ohio-Erie Trail with the plan to ride from Cincinnati to Cleveland. A severe thunderstorm curtailed his trip in Canal Fulton, OH, but he hopes to complete that final 60 miles of the bike ride to Cleveland in September 2022. Dan also enjoys spending time with his two sons and grandchildren and watching the Car Wizard and This Old House.
Alannah is originally from a small town in Tennessee. Recently, she has become a resident of Canal Winchester, along with her two cats, Hope and Purtz. She is an active member of Grace Fellowship Church in Pickerington. She loves helping others any way she can which makes her role as Pantry Coordinator a perfect fit. In her spare time, she loves to paint and hike with her boyfriend.
Joan and her husband, Todd, have lived in Canal Winchester for more than 30 years. They have three children: Hannah, Rachel, and Mark and two dogs: Phoebe and Chelsea. Joan worked in marketing and communications for more than 16 years with Ohio Living. She also worked as the building secretary and media specialist at Harmon Middle School in Pickerington.
Joan enjoys spending time with her family, as well as hiking, traveling, pickle ball, gardening, home improvement projects, and just being outdoors. Joan and Todd have always volunteered in the local community and schools. Joan is excited to be part of the Canal Winchester Human Services team.
