SENIOR OUTREACH

Spring Community Care Day

Our faithful friends at Canal Winchester High School dedicate one day every April/May to go out into the community and complete outside jobs for senior citizen residents in our community.  From cleaning windows to yard work, the high school students go home-to-home to serve others.

Fall Community Care Day

Every fall, Kevin Barhorst & the golf team  spend the day helping Canal Winchester's senior citizens. They assist with outside jobs such as raking leaves and washing windows.

Senior Fun Trips

Senior Fun Trips

Twice a month, trips are planned by Canal Winchester Human Services, and transportation is provided through our Senior Transportation program. Our drivers look forward to these social events with our seniors.  Examples of trips include: baseball games, theater performances, park visits, historical tours, and lunch outings. If interested, one must be an active member of the Senior Citizens Club ($10 yearly membership fee). To sign up or obtain more information, call (614) 837-8276.
